People have walked the hills and valleys around Sparsholt for thousands of years; their stories are layered in the land beneath our feet, feeding our local produce and firing our imagination.

Our philosophy is simple: we respect what this ancient landscape provides, and prepare it with skill and imagination – creating extraordinary culinary moments. In this way, we hope that new stories will be told – stories that will put Sparsholt on the map.

Overseen by Luke Sutton, dishes are earthy, elegant and bursting with substance, with only the very best of the season making it to the plate.

Luke’s career has spanned the acclaimed L’Ortolan in Reading, The Woodspeen in Newbury and The Clockspire on the Somerset/Dorset border which was recently shortlisted in the prestigious Trencherman’s Awards.
